Dover Middle School

A Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Dover Middle School!

Dover Middle School strives to provide a challenging, engaging, and relevant learning environment for our students in grades 6, 7, and 8. We know that students learn best in an atmosphere in which they feel safe, accepted, and valued. Our commitment to the parents and students of the Dover Community is to ensure student achievement is maximized by providing a positive environment.

We also believe it is important that our students understand that "giving back" to their community is an essential element to being a good citizen. The D.O.C.K. (Dover Caring Kids) program exists to help teach that important lesson. Within the D.O.C.K. program, our students go out into the community to do service work for those people in need.

While we always stress academics, we also recognize that it is critical for our students to become well-rounded young people. We provide a wide variety of athletic programs in the fall, winter, and spring for our student athletes in addition to servicing those students with musical interests through our band, choir, and orchestra programs.

Please call us if you have any questions or concerns.
